Annie Cook is a senior scientist in epidemiology at the International Livestock Research Institute. She received her veterinary degree from the University of Sydney and her PhD in epidemiology from the University of Edinburgh. She works on a range of One Health projects across East Africa with small holder livestock keepers and pastoralists. Her research interest is diseases at the wildlife-livestock-human interface. The majority of her projects are field based but she is also interested in trialing different laboratory methods for disease detection.
