Christopher Pierson is currently a Ph.D. student in Epidemiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Before starting his Ph.D., he received a Master's of Health Science with a focus on One Health at the University of Florida. His research interests are veterinary epidemiology and its intersection with human epidemiology and One Health. His dissertation focuses on the impact of neighborhood disadvantage on companion dog health.
