Dishon Muloi

Professional Bio

Dr Dishon Muloi is a molecular epidemiologist and a veterinarian with the International Livestock Research Institute in Nairobi, Kenya and an adjunct fellow at University of Liverpool, UK. His research interests focus on the application of genomics approaches in understanding and preventing transmission of antimicrobial resistance (and infectious disease) within and between human, animal, and environment interfaces. He is currently working on various large-scale surveillance projects investigating the epidemiology of AMR across One Health interfaces in urban and rural settings in East Africa. He holds a PhD in molecular epidemiology from the University of Edinburgh, UK.
