Esa Karalliu is Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Public Health and Infectious Diseases at the City University of Hong Kong. Her research is focused on antimicrobial resistance, specifically studying Enterobacterales in dogs and cats within Hong Kong. Before pursuing her Ph.D., Esa gained valuable experience working for the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in Albania and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO - UN).
