Farah, a veterinarian by training, is currently a PhD student at the University of Liverpool and a research fellow at the International Livestock Research Institute. With a keen interest in enhancing the health and well-being of pastoral communities, he is a researcher dedicated to implementing the One Health approach in pastoral settings. His primary focus lies in finding innovative ways to mitigate risks associated with human interactions with domestic and wild animals, food and water handling practices, and irrational use of antimicrobials. He held the position of Immunology lecturer at Red Sea University in Somalia.
