Dr. Ingrid Toftaker is an associate professor at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and holds a DVM and PhD from the same university. Her primary research interest lies in epidemiologic studies of diseases in production animals including both production-related disorders as well as infectious diseases with an overall aim to increase the understanding and management of diseases in production animals. Dr. Toftaker is a dedicated educator and teaches veterinary epidemiology at both graduate and PhD level. She particularly enjoys testing and applying new teaching methods to effectively engage students in the subject of veterinary epidemiology. She is dedicated to diversifying her teaching methods, thereby fostering a stimulating and dynamic learning environment that engages and inspires the students.
