I studied veterinary medicine in Berlin. After finishing my doctoral thesis in Neuroscience, I worked at the Charité Berlin, public authorities in Saxony and Northrhine-Westphalia. Finally I got a position at the Federal Research institute of animal Health Germany (FLI). Here, I specialized in veterinary epidemiology.
