Kenneth Malatji is a dedicated professional with a passion for both academia and animal welfare. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Production Animal studies with University of Pretoria, I am deeply engaged in research aimed at Describing the trade network of livestock farmers in the FMD Protection Zone of Limpopo Province, which will be useful for the development of a strategic surveillance system within the livestock movement network. My academic journey is fueled by a desire to contribute innovative solutions to a eradication of Foot and mouth disease outbreaks in South Africa and neighboring countries. Kenneth Malatji holds a vital role as an animal health technician working for a pharmaceutical company called Afrivet which is recently bought by Bimeda, where I apply my knowledge and expertise to ensure the well-being of animals under my care. Kenneth brings a unique blend of theoretical understanding and practical experience to their work, leveraging insights gained from their Ph.D. studies to inform their decisions in the field.
