Professional Bio

Kinley Choden is a Veterinary Epidemiologist with a diverse background in wildlife medicine and management, companion animal, and the One Health approach. She is currently working as Animal Health Officer at the WOAH Sub-Regional Representation for South-East Asia, Bangkok, where she provides technical support for TADs and zoonoses activities, which includes disease surveillance, control and prevention, risk assessments, vaccination campaigns, outbreak investigations, animal health information systems and the development of disease control strategies. Prior to this, Kinley spent ten years working as a wildlife veterinarian with the Department of Forests and Park Services, Royal Government of Bhutan. She completed MSc (Epidemiology) from Kasetsart University, Thailand, and Masters InterRisk (One Health) from Toulouse University, France.
