Dr. Medrano is a DVM, MPH, and PhD Candidate at the University of Minnesota. Her thesis is focused on researching the epidemiological spread of African Swine Fever in outdoor raised swine in Minnesota using Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus as a proxy for her network analysis and disease spread models. She has an interest in public policy and livestock health.
