Ning Chen is a PhD student in the Department of Applied Economics at National Chung Hsing University. Her research interests include livestock economics, farm animal welfare, and animal infectious diseases. Prior to pursuing her PhD, Ning worked as a journalist for 10 years. She holds an MA in Journalism and a BBA in Finance, both from National Taiwan University. During the period from Fall 2023 to Spring 2024, she received grants from the Graduate Students Study Abroad Program of the National Science and Technology Council in Taiwan and visited the Department of Agricultural Economics at Kansas State University.
