Pablo Valdes Donoso

Professional Bio

Pablo has over a decade of experience in using data analytics to drive solutions to animal health and production issues. He is an IVADO Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal and focuses on accelerating AI research in Veterinary Medicine. Before his current work, he worked as a Data Scientist in a tech company to build and analyze aquaculture data and as a postdoctoral scholar evaluating the economic effects of policies over agricultural sectors of California. Pablo holds a DVM from the Universidad de Chile, an MPVM, an MSc in Applied Economics, and a PhD in Epidemiology from UC Davis.
