Rabina Ghimire is a trained veterinarian from Nepal and a graduate with an M.Sc in Infectious Diseases and One Health jointly from France, Spain and Germany. Currently, she is a PhD student in Epidemiology and Biostatistics Program at the University of Zurich under the supervision of Prof Sonja Hartnack. Her PhD project focuses on the aspects of rabies control and elimination in Uganda. Her research interest is in applying approaches of epidemiology and One Health for the management, control, and elimination of zoonotic and transboundary animal diseases.
