Professional Bio
Sarah Rosanowski is an internationally respected epidemiologist who has been involved in scientific research relating to the horse racing industry in the both the Northern and Southern hemispheres for 20 years. She has worked on equine health- and welfare-related projects including working with horse racing regulatory bodies, veterinarians and racecourse managers in the UK, Ireland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and the USA. She has a unique skill set within translational research – translating research evidence into actions and impacts.
Sarah undertook post-doctoral research at the Royal Veterinary College in London investigating risk factors for race-day injury in British horse racing. She has held academic posts at Massey University, City University of Hong Kong, and currently holds an honorary appointment at the University of Melbourne.
