Giulia Savioli is a European College of Veterinary Public Health resident working at the Swiss Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office. Since qualifying as a veterinarian from the University of Cambridge in 2018, she has worked as a large animal and equine clinician in the United Kingdom and Switzerland, as well as a Veterinary Officer in the Swiss Armed Forces. She joined the Swiss Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office in 2022, and works on projects covering prevention and control of transboundary animal diseases, including African Swine Fever, economics of animal health and evidence-based veterinary public health policy. She continues to be involved with projects in collaboration with the Veterinary Public Health Institute of the University of Bern.
