Lis Alban works as a Chief Scientist for the Danish Agriculture & Food Council. She is also an Adjunct Professor at University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Her double affilation makes it possible for her to act as a bridge between livestock indutry and academia. She holds a PhD in Veterinary Epidemiology and is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Public Health. Her area of interest includes risk assessment and surveillance systems.
