Matthew graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2019 with a Masters degree in mathematics. Following this he undertook a PhD programme with the University of Nottingham utilising big data and modern analytical techniques for the detection of lameness in dairy cattle. Upon completion of his PhD, Matthew joined the University of Nottingham as a research associate. His research areas include machine learning, big data analytics and behaviour modelling.
