Rebecca is a current final year medical student at The University of Sydney. She has recently completed her MD Project – a supervised research project integrated into the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program, on the impact of extreme weather events on One Health in eastern Australia. Despite being new to the field of research, Rebecca has enjoyed learning and applying qualitative research methods, and looks forward to exploring further research opportunities of various forms in the future. Completing her final two years of medical school in based in Lismore, NSW, her specific areas of interest lie in rural health, with a particular emphasis on women’s health.
