Professional Bio
I graduated from the University of Warwick with a PhD in mathematics in 2020. Since then, I have been based at the Zeeman Institute: Systems Biology and Infectious Disease Epidemiology Research (SBIDER) at Warwick. I am interested in developing mathematical models for infectious diseases, specifically questions around the spatial spread of diseases, parameter inference, and the feasibility of the elimination of transmission. While I have previously worked on human African trypanosomiasis (HAT) in the Democratic Republic of Congo and COVID-19 in the UK, most recently I have been working on models for livestock diseases in the UK, specifically highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) and foot-and-mouth disease (FMD).
